Hi Julie Your help would be very much appreciated, I have one individual who is giving me problems at the moment in my tree. I have listed as many details as I know. Alfred Birch as per 1901 census living in Barrow in Furness, Lancs, age 53 born worcs, worcester. in the household was his Wife Ellen, 3 children and mother in law. as per 1881 census living in Barrow in Furness, Lancs, age 34 born Dudley. Worcester. in the household was his Wife and 1 child. Alfred married Ellen Adams on 10th September 1871 in Halesowen, Worcester It would be appreciated if you could find him in the 1871 census before he married. This hopefully will give me his parents names and ages. Regards David email [email protected] |

Hi Julie Very kind of you to volunteer to do this. Please could you look up the Bayliss family, which I think has been mistranscribed as BAYLES on the 1901 census: They are in West Ham (possibly at 35 Stanley Street) and I think there are six of them, including: George "Bayles", age 37, born Bethnal Green, (Ship Labourer?) I should love to have the image if you have any success! Many thanks in advance Regards Helen |
