I'm really sorry - I've tried every which way, first names, ages, birthplaces etc. Can't find them . There is a James R Thomasson age 36 born Rochdale. Sorry - got a bit excited - can see you have first marriage' There are about 28 deaths for Margaret Thomasson's in Lancs and not really knowing if she is the one in 1881 difficult to pinpoint year. You don't happen to know registration diistrict for Hulme, do you. And, the coast is clear - husband departed to mother's for lunch! Tricia

Sorry Tricia, I was away checking births !! after your suggestion !........ The first marriage is definate ! it could be that Margaret died , so I will look for her death and then that would explain the JJ marriage to Mary Evans in 96. Having said that .......... ready for this !!! two of the other brothers also had children named James Joseph .. so the 1896 marriage COULD be any of them .... getting slightly complicated hey !! ?? And, on top of that, I have just found a birth of James Joseph Thomasson in Warrington 1887 June.... and another one for a MInnie Thomasson also in Warrington March 1891. Maybe a 1891 search for this child James Joseph b 1887 may throw up his parents who could or couldnt be .........? The plot thickens !!
