John Blackie b.1850 and Rosannah b.1850.... They were living in Gateshead area in 1881 married with a daughter. Trying to trace their marriage. Grateful for any help Thanks Clare

Yvonne & Margaret - whoops sorry meant 1871 - Isabella was born in 1871 so she might not be on the 1871 census, depending on the quarter. Haven't got a date of birth.

Unfortunately not :( The last 4 are in the London area. Manchester would be your closest and even that isn't very close. But people did move around a bit, even back then so you never know! I searched under 1865 to 1881, but guess it's possible they married later, and also possible that it just hasn't been transcribed yet Regards Ann

Cant find any Isabella Blackies born 1871.Non of the areas mentioned are near Gateshead.On the 1881 census where did it say they were born....Update...1881 census... found Isabella`s birth Oct-Nov-Dec 1870 born Gateshead vol 10a page 699 Yvonne

Margaret - In 1881 John and Rosannah Blackie with children, Isabella 10, Mary 7, Rosannah 5, Eliza 3 were living at 5 Shiney Row, Wallsend, Northumberland. I think they must have moved around a bit, I can't confirm their address for 1891 or 1901 Thanks Clare

No sorry, but you could do with an 1871 lookup now that you know she was born in 1870 and see where they are Yvonne
