Hi Robin. Wonder if its possible to find a JOHN BLACKMORE for me. Born about 1814 ish! He's in London by 1858 when he married - for at least the second time as he is a widow then - He says he was born in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and (again on his marriage certificate in 1858) says his father is JOHN BLACKMORE (deceased). I don't know when or why he moved to London at this point, or indeed anything before 1858. Not much to go on, but would appreciate it if you could have a look. THANK YOU. Sheryl

Hi Robin, Could I please trouble you for a look-up for Somerset 1851. Looking for a James KNIGHT bn 1838-39 in Crediton, Devon. Though he would only be around 11/12yrs old, think he may already have been apprenticed, possibley to a shoemaker, in Somerset. Very possibly Bridgwater. He is there before 1861, where he married a local Bridgwater girl. He won't be with his parents, definitely. Thanks a million Debbie
