Hi Tony In both the 1891 & 1901 census William is recorded as Widowed so it's likely that Mary died between 1884 after the birth of William jumior Do you have William's mother Letitia from 1881 census ? Regards Janice

hi janice, thank for all the info,it would seem letitia[mother] was 69 not 49 born abt 1813 she had a elder son henry 1841, husband george 1809 on 1861 census in coventry both watch makers, letitia was in london with annie and son william,dont know where the daughter letitia was,but it all seems to fit in, will hang on for more info before i add to my tree,thanks again,regards tony
