Hi Ann, Ulverston is a very large place. Without an address to go on then I'm afraid that you are asking someone to trawl every page both in 61 & 51. I've looked on the 1861 Name Index for you but he doesn't seem to be listed as Horatio/Oratio. There are too many John's to be able to pinpoint yours .. without the parents name's. His marriage cert will give his fathers name and occupation at very least ... and as mentioned before, his birth cert will give both parents names. Asking anyone to search until found, without additional info is asking a great deal. You should consider getting the certs for the additional info needed for a lookup. Elaine :-)

Thought if I got him on 61 he may be with his own parents which would be a step in the right direction Ann

have checked name index 1861 but only 1 john burrell listed and hes in burnley.ulverston seems to be complete and no john or horatio on it.so without more information its hard to know were to look.do you have address in 71

Hi Can anyone help with a Lancashire 1861 Horatio John Burrell born 1853 Ulverston found him in 1871 I think but calling himself John - 1881 listed as Horatio I Burrell married now to Ann - 1891 listed as John - 1901 Horatio John - married 1973 listed as Horalie John Any help with 1861 Horatio and therefore leading to parents ans siblings appreciated All records found relate to Ulverston so far lol Ann
