Since this looks like Thomas & Amelia that have been found in 1901 Census. Elaine,just checked Thomas's marriage cert,he married in Sept 1894 aged 27,which makes his birth c1867,he died in Feb.1950 aged 81 which is c1869,on 1901 census he was 38 which is 1863,it is deffo him on 1901 census,i cant find his birth either,hope you can help. Ann.

Ann, Is it the 38 year old thomas you are trying to find, as I think the only other census we will possibly find is 1871 and he would have been old enough to be away from home by then. Maybe if you put out a separate thread for anyone that has earlier censu's for that area. Elaine If u want 1871 looking up, let me know.
