Find Ancestors

Hi wondering if anyone can throw some light on this for me... I know my grandad existed!! But cant find him or his father on any census I would be everso grateful if anyone can point me in the right direction or help me out please, these are the details I have. Henry G Elliott died age 61 in 1960 Lambeth London Henry G Elliott married Mary Warman 1931 in Lambeth London, address given 64 Bonnington Square London fathers on cert, William Edward Elliott (cant find this peson anywhere!) occ wheelwright deceased, Levi Warman occ carman deceased. Hi Linda, Thank you, I have managed to trace that side of the family but I appreciate you looking, as you can see there are a couple of mistakes on that page Wally should read Mary and Waller should read Walter, im wondering if this is why I cant find Henry!! But its is Henry and William im after, just proving to be a mystery and really dont know what way to go now, any tips please. Thanks Debbie

Hi Rosemary, Silly question time as im a 'newbie' at this.. how did you find William Elliott wheelwright? was it a) by looking on 1901govcensus and scrolling down or b) ancestry? I really appreciate you doing this im going to go one by one with them now to see if they can shed any light on this hunt for Henry as I know he was around for the 1901 census. Thanks again. Debbie

I believe Borough is Lambeth area so thought this may be worth looking at Amelia Elliott 21 Boro, London, England Daughter Spitalfields London Edward Elliott 44 Boro, London, England Head Spitalfields London Eliza Elliott 42 Boro, London, England Wife Spitalfields London Henry Elliott 5 Boro, London, England Son Spitalfields London ps looked at image for 1901 and yes it shows as 3 wives for once transcribers got it right even if compiler didn't
