I've lost someone on 1881, who I know didn't die till 1889. His name is Craven Wood, born Mar 1850 in Huddersfield. I wouldn't ask, only it's not a very common name. The other Woods will have to stay hidden lol (Found him in 1871, now lost in 1881 lol) Can anyone help?

Can you decipher what it says for where Sara A was born? Ancestry says Dorset, but it looks like Dastershire? to me.

just googled nothing the the only thing i can think of doing is looking at a map for dorset and see if anything matches sorry

hi tracy i have had a look on 1881 there are a fewbut none that match yours i think ,sorry someone else might be able to do better

I've justr looked at that image. It does appear to say Dastershire. I wonder if the enumerator couldn't read the info. The Dorset bit was added by someone else.
