I did find Jonathans parents as James and Mary on the 1851 - and the 1841 - both sets of details on thread. It was while I was looking on the 1841 that I saw some other Baxters who were in their 60's or 70's and I wondered if these were Jonathans grandparents. I'll go back and have a dig for the oldies and post to this thread with what I get. Jools

Laird ROTFLMAO Seriously though - glad I was of assistance. There are a couple of other Baxters on the 1841 - I seem to think they were the generation before James (45 on 1841) - have you got his parents names or do you just want me to have a dig?? Jools
