As you must have all of that lot sorted out by now, I thought that I would add this!!!!!!!!! 1851, not in Kirk House Green, but there was George Clough 55 proprietor of houses alsso 2 acres of land, on his own 1861 HO107/3521 folio 145 Kirk Bramwith Braaithwaite Road Jonathan Clough 60 small farmer jane 56, Emma 19, henry 17, arthur 15, jesse 13, George 6 Your man Stainforth, Bramwith William Clough Butcher 36 b Braithwaite charlotte 27 b Blaxton Benjamin 1 b Braithwaite 1891 Kirk Bramwith William Clough widower.66 Ag Lab b South Bramwith Just with a servant Linda

Margaretts died when he was a child . She had a daughter named Ann who died just around the birth of William

Just saw that you said his mother was \\Margaretta so maybe that was not him in 41. I went through the whole of the area in 41 and they were all of the Cloughs

Mary was his stepmother. But interesting that they moved to Stainforth.Thanks every one. He did move back to Kirk Bramwith for 1901 census.

1841 got him with his parents the grocers, so the Mary in 51 must be his mother, but he was else where Sort this lot out!!!!!! have looked through Kirk Bramwith in 51 and theres no William Clough.there aree Cloughs there who are farmers though

William Clough b 31/3/1825 Kirk Bramwith. Married Charlotte Bradbury 1855. Would like to know occupation of William. Could be butcher, farmer or turner. Also children. William could have had a marriage before Charlotte. Thanks in anticipation.
