Nationwide censuses started in 1841. When did they marry? How did you come to that year 1880 for Thomas Tasker? Have you looked at all for their birth, marriage or death? I understand that, but you've given us very little to go on. So you can understand why I ask more questions, right? Do you know when your parents married? Have you their marriage certificate? This should give father's names and occupations. I can't find one Evelyn Loyal on any of the English & Welsh censuses.

Am nudging the thread for Mark/Mark's great granddaughter. He messaged me the following - my fatehr and my mother were never amrried as he was already amrried to a woman but could not divorce her as she was mentally ill, i think and he had children from this marriage atleast 2 which were two byos and i know that one child died somehow and the boys were sent to live with there gran but as they grew older they were eventually sent to the army i think so i am lookign to find out about timothy taskers family etc and my two half brother all i know is that they are dead now but there may be more unknown family thta i am unaware of you see? many thanks mark I have asked him to put his replies to the questions I ask him, on this message, so hopefully we'll have some more info to work on. mark - to find more info on Timothy Tasker, or any of them, you will eventually need to buy some of the certificates.
