Can anyone help me with a post 1953 death? I am trying to find a Mary Powell Woollnough if some kind soul has a moment to have a search for me. On that note - I'm also trying to get a will for her. Is this easy to do and can I do it over the internet? If anyone can help send me a message - happy to help if anyone has a Tasmanian enquiry! Kim in Tasmania

Ancestry has deaths after about 1983/4 I think. If its before then, there's no easy way, you just have to go through all 4 quarters of every year on www 1837online com till you find it. Info about wills here: relative the right to administer the deceased's estate. From 1858 wills were proved centrally at the Principal Probate Registry and can be searched at First Avenue House, 42-49 High Holborn, London, WC1V 6NP, 0207 7936 7000, www.courtservice.gov.uk/using_courts/wills_probate nell

Sue

Have you seen the date of posting?

...........and the fact that Kim has ZERO posts to her name......which means she's long gone from GR.

Please check last posting date on any thread you think of adding to

Kim actually has 86 posts .......

She may still be a member so Sue could try clicking on her name to message her.

My apologies.......the first responder is the one with zero posts I didn't scroll up far enough..........

I would imagine, however, that the info has been found by now..........and Kim didn't respond anyway.........
