Hi, It's likely the birth will be on the full GRO index. It is on 1837online (pay to view) or you can search the fiche free at many libraries, LDS centre and record offices. Gwynne |

Just read all posts to query, Found this James Evans Birth march qtr 1845 Nantwich Cheshire vol 19 page 162 Could this be him? Heather( nantwich not too far away) |

I will check at the library what info they have, did you check 1861 census, 2 James Evans, I think the birth ref I found is definately the one in Nantwich, his fathers name on census James, but the other 14yr old in 1861 in Newhall,Cheshire, well the image wasn't very clear but he was a servant no family with him.A Charles Evans age 74yrs also recorded, with family,but no wife there.Will get back to you soon.
