Hi Sue The only record I could find for Ella Macdonald is the one below in Altrincham, Cheshire. I had a look on the map and it is now classed as Greater Manchester. Lived at Water Bank, Ashley Road, Altrincham (looks like Water Bank, may be wrong. Hi Becky Knew there would be a few!! And yes I think most of them are related in some way or other, all I have to do now its link them with the 1861 and 1881 census. If you come across any others I would be interested in their details as the only way I can research my family is to look at them as a whole! Unfortunately they all named their children the same. Hi, Rebecca, If you have time could you possibly look up for me - Thomas Letham abt 50 ag lab born Norham NBL Mary wife abt 54 ag lab born ford NBL Anne dau abt 23 born Ford NBL (she probably died before 1871) Sarah dau abt 21 born Ford NBL Thomason dau abt 20 born Lowick NBL I have updated the the ages from the 1851 census. I don't think there were any others after Thomason (who is my ggrandmother). If Thomason is not on the 1871 census, this would suggest that she was married by then. Name may now be spelt 'Leatham' which is the name given on my grandmother's birth cert. Thank you for this - it will be a great help Anne X

Hi Becky, sorry its late but if you could do a look up for me I would really appreciate it, trying to find in the 1871 census a Mary Collins age 59 and possibly her daughter also Mary age 22 in Broadway Worcs. 1861 shows her as living in Rams Alley High St. This address continues to be occupied by her son inlater years so I'm hoping in 1871 she's still there.
