Hi Everyone, i've been today he're what i found(not a lot) for Gwyneth in Kent. the marriage records aren't indexed for that date yet.i looked at the fiche for part of 1908 but couldn't find anything,i'll look at the rest of 1908 another day(i ran out of time) for Michele Eva Ansell born 17th august 1886Portsea .baptised 16th september 1886 at Holy Trinity.daughter of Edmund and Annie Maria of Duchess of Edinburgh Public House,Queen Street.Cab Driver. Eva Ansell daughter of George and Sarah,2 Highland Place .Sergeant in RMA.milton .St james 30 th August 1885. I couldn't find anything for William but i hope one of these Evas is yours. for Lou,Julie and Allan.none of yours are indexed yet so i will need to look at the fiche. for Geraldine,the good news is i found the marriage butthe bad news is there were no parents but it did have the witnesses names,Richard Rook and Mary Morey.i also looked it up on the fiche as the lady told me that the parents names may have been left off by mistake but that was all the info there was. for all of you who i couldn't find anythig it was because the records hadn't been indexed yet,so i will make another trip another day to look at the fiches Karen

thank you karen for your offer. Could you please look up a marriage between John Underwood and Ellen Slater between 1871 and 1878. John was born in Wickham and Ellen in Pulborough, Sussex. They were married and lived in Alverstoke, Gosport. Ellen died in 1878 in Alverstoke. John remarried in 1882 to Martha but I have details for this. thats ok Lou, Alverstoke is across the water in Gosport but i did see some records when i went to the RO last week but i'm just not sure what years, i'll let you know what i find out, Karen

Hi Karen If you have time, could you please check the entries for the following for me Julia Stuart married John Melier 13 Jan 1862 Alverstoke Interested in father's names and any witnesses. Trying to establish whether this is MY Julia! Also the baptism at St Marys Portsea for Richard William Alfred Stuart 28 Jun 1842. Looking for the father's occupation if possible. Thanks Lou

Thank you Karen. If by chance there is an index of marriages at St Marys church Portsmouth please will you look for Ethel Emily HOLLINGWORTH who married in June Q. 1908. I believe that she may have married Harry Charles FRANKLIN. As I don't know a date, I wouldn't expect you to trawl through the months looking for her. I don't even know if it was definitely St Mary's although that is where her sister married, before this. Thank you for your offer.
