Hi Can anyone help me to find more about John Phoenix Rogers(maybe spelt Phenix) or (Phenex). He was born to John Rogers and Jane Phenex. It would be great if you could tell me what he did for a living, if he married, when he died and where he may be buried. I know it is asking a lot but anything will do. He had 8 siblings. Thanks Jen

Hi Sam The John Phoenix you have born c1875 may be my grandfather. I have him as born c1876 in Tarporley which (I think) is near Nantwich. Don't know about the others but as you say it isn't a usual name maybe they are related - I will find out as I go on no doubt. Thanks Jen

The birth registration for Jane P Rogers in nantwich district in 1873 MAY belong to this Jane, below. She is the only Jane Rogers on the 1881 census wh was born in the right part of Chrshire, and when I clicked on the family I was pleased to see her dad was from Wrexham!!
