Carley I'm back! Do you have the marriage cert? If so, what was the occupation of the father? Rose |

Rose Sorry I hadn't seen your reply, opps! GEORGE HENRY PERRY married FRANCES HENRIETTA FLETCHER, april 10th 1875, Parish Church, New Brompton, Kent. GEORGE HENRY PERRY was a NAVAL ENGINEER, age 19. His father also GEORGE PERRY was also in the Royal Engineers, but I can not read his title. FRANCES was also 19, her father DAVID FLETCHER was PAYMASTER POLICE. Hope this helps, sorry again for the delay Carley |

He may just not have been registered. My grt grandfather was born between April &September of 1847,have verified this with marriage cert, death cert & age on 1881 census which narrows his birth right down to those months. But hes just not in the gro records. I have searched these several times at LRC and no show. It wasnt compulsary to register till mid 1870,s Shirley |
