hi i,m trying to trace jesse and mary edwards on the 1891 census for usa, jesse was born 1847 monks kirby warwickshire, his wife mary was born 1849 carlton leicestershire, they had children ruth sophia frank jane arthur mary help really appreciated family sailed to usa on egypt 1882, but not sure when jesse might have gone, he is listed on the english 1881 census though many thanks marcie

IS Jesse his nickname? the only Jesse from England ( they only ever record country's birth place never the town unless from the US ) was a woman. Debi

there is this on 1930: Jesse Edwards Saginaw, Saginaw, MI abt 1847 England Father-in-law The head of the household is Fred Inman and the wife ( poss Jesse's daughter) Louise aged 43 born in Michigan. I've saved the image if its of help? Debi

At first I thought so ......... however its A Soldiers Home??? He is recorded as Married . I'm sorry have been unable to find him in 1920 or Mary on the census including her children......... it could be a mistranscription. I'll look back in tomorrow and if no further help has been added I'll have another stab at this for you . Much happiness Debi
