Looks like Caleston St ... on the 1841 image .... D'ya know it's really hard to say this, but I'm glad I'm not the only person who can't find him !!!!!!!!!! I do wonder if he's gone to USA or if he's up in Scotland .. but I haven't got access to iether. If I hadn't seen him down as Widower, it wouldn't be bothering me ... but he MAY have children left somewhere !! Not to worry too much Esta, they can't go anywhere can they !! Elaine :-) |

Cas ... and Barbara, THANK YOU .... definately interesting information. I'm not sure where Nancy Johnson may fit in, she's obviously a wife of a Johnson, but I haven't got far enough back with investigations to know WHO she may have married ...(could be one of Ninin's brothers but I would need to do some more research to find out who/when ! Ninin is brother of Sarah Johnson ... who married my GGGG Grandfather James Shawcross in 1808. I have Sarah & Ninin's parents but have to wait till after Monday to find any further info on the parents. Barbara .... I will try and find time soon to chase that up, with 1851 ... but everytime I come to PC son starts shouting 'MUUUUUM...' I'll come back as soon as I can. Elaine :-) |
