STAFFORDSHIRE, STOKE ON TRENT. Hi and thank you. I have just fount a christening on the IGI. For: Theresa Simpson 24/3/1844. Now on there it says that the fathers name is HANLEY SIMPSON, which i cant see, as the christening took place in Hanley, i was wondering if this was a mistype or its for real. that's why I've asked someone to look on the 1851 or 1861 census for me. IT says. Father: Hanley Simpson. Mother: Lavinia no age, or anything daur : Theresa/Teresa Simpson 1844. Please don't waste you time if its going to be to much hard work, i can always ask again when i have more info. thanks and cheers :-)
