Hi all I have been albe to find all I need dealing with Diane David. Found a whole skew of family who were looking for her as well. I still need help with the Tucker's from Birmingham. I'm looking for the records of Abraham Thomas Tucker, Birmingham, born 6 July 1893. The marriage certificate finally arrived and his father's name was Jospeh and mother's was Elizabeth but her maiden name is unclear. She could also have been a Tucker, their place of birth is not on the certificate so any other help would be greatly appreciated. Plus any children or other family records available would be greatly appreciated. They arrived in Australia in March 1922 and married in Melbourne vic Australia in October 1922. 1901 census does not have a Tucker named either Abraham or Thomas born in Birmingham in 1894......no Abraham Tucker anywhere in Warwickshire, in fact. Rose

I have checked 1837 from OND1893 to JFM1895..no Abraham Tucker birth registered. Rose

This is the only birth reg for an Abraham Thomas Tucker in the right place, but it's a bit earlier than expected...... Name: Tucker, Abraham Thomas Record Type: Births Quarter: September Year: 1891 District: Birmingham (1837-1924) County: Warwickshire Volume: 6d Page: 65 I can't see him on the 1901 census, but if he is going by the first name Thomas, then there are too many to choose from, without knowing his father's details. His father's name and occupation should be on Abraham's marriage cert. I am not quite sure if you are saying that Abraham married Diane David, but if you are, then I can tell you they didn't marry between 1912 and 1920. You will need to search the GRO indexes for 1921 onwards by either visiting a large local library or by buying some credits for 1837online. Once you have the marriage certificate you will be in a better position to trace the Tucker family on the 1901 census. Good Luck Merry

Thank you all. Ta Merry, yes Abraham Thomas Tucker did marry Diane David. They married in Melbourne Australia. I'm looking for family records in England before they left in 1921-22. Tucker did go by the nickname of Tommy Tucker, here in Australia, probably in England as well.

Will the Melbourne marriage cert give details on Tommy's parents at all?? (Pity you didn't say about the Aussie connection at the start!! Ggrrr!!!) Merry

Still need help with confirmation of birth details of Tucker, Abraham Thomas Born: Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. Information on my mothers birth certificate says he was 43 yrs in 1937 when mum was born. The marriage certificate in Melbourne doesn't have any details about their parents as far as I can find out. Certificate is on its way to me. He would have been 1894 if I use this as a guide. Any one able to check migration records - England to Australia in 1921-1922. He arrived on the HMS Berrima in Melbourne February-March 1922. Thanks for any help you can give on these matters. Cathrine

That is something that you can do at your end. Emigration records here..... not organised or on the internet at all. Australia has loads!
