Find Ancestors

I'm trying to find EDWARD HAWLEY, b.1881, on the 1891 census, and his wife MARY HAWLEY (nee CLIFFORD?), b.1877, on the 1891 census. They came from Nottingham and lived in the Hyson Green area when the 1901 census was taken. Would like to know who Edward's and Mary's parents are. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks. Kirsten

Yeah, I think that's them....in fact that's the one you gave me! I don't know who their parents are and I would like to know that. I have the 1881 census free but not the others so if some kind person could please look them both up on the 1891 census then I can confirm them on the 1881...well, Mary at least.

Indeed, both Emma and Edward are family names. I think that could be the Hawley's. Thank you

Thank you. On Mary's 1881 census both Wilbur's are called William. Don't think that's their name by any chance do you? Would still be interested to see who lived with Edward in 1891.

Hi Rose, I think that is Emma. She was born in 1876 in Basford. Does it say who she was with? That is definately John. Thank you. Very interested as why Emma was in Essex
