Find Ancestors

If anyone has the 1891 London census, would they please look up for me:- 61 Columbia Road, Bethnal Green. I am really hoping that a 'Turner' lives there. With many thanks, Sarah (cursing her surname of Turner!)

Not easy to do address look-ups. Who are you hoping to find there. Tooooooo many Turnes to look through individually.

Thanks for reply. Was hoping to find John James Turner, aged about 26. He got re-married in April 1892 with the address of 61 Columbia Road on marriage cert and widower as condition. I have only just started to research the Turners - as I thought would be too frustrating. Where was John James born please?

Thank you all for your replies. John's profession is a carman. His father is James Turner - plumber. I'm sorry but I have no idea where either were born - This is the first research I have done on the Turner's (thank goodness I didn't start originally with my Dad's lot....I would have thrown in the towel with genealogy after a week!!). I've looked on freebmd, but no birth cert for John James Turner listed as yet. Maybe I will have to shelve this until I get his birth cert. Can't go anywhere to look it up as on crutches. I am so very grateful to all of you for your help. I'm hoping that as we found out that James Turner (john's father) was born in Hampshire, it maybe a bit easier to trace him there rather than Bethnal Green area, but not counting my chickens. My Dad knows nothing about his decendants so has been of no help, he didn't know that he was named after his grandfather until I made him hunt his fathers birth cert out a few weeks ago.....yes my dad is another John Turner!
