My great grandmother was Jane Wilson who had a daughter Katherine early 1900's. Jane then married Adam Fordyce who was born 1874 They lived in Crawford , Lanark and had my grandmother 9/2/1914 I am trying to trace Jane Wilson and her parents details

Thanks for Fordyce family Jane Wilson is the big problem and on her headstone it says Jane Wilson not Jeanie The family are trying to trace my gran's birth certificate to confirm marriage date in order that I can find parents names, but no luck so far. Jane has an 89 year old daughter still alive but when you ask about family she clams up and tells you nothing, which is a pity. Thanks for help Isobel

Its relatively inexpensive to join Scotalsnd people and there is far more information than any England website. Minimum payment is £6 for 30 units but beware they only last for 1 week.
