No point in looking for the marriage until you have the birth cert..............what first names would we look for? Also. you must bear in mind that searches after 1910 are not free.................... Reg |

there is little on ancestry after 1910 so that is all too early at this stage. you need the site www* 1837online*Com swap the * for a . > get some dates in your mind, are tim and malcom older than your father? who was born first? Which child was the first born and when? the marriage PRIOBABLY took palce just before or around that time. it gives you a start point to start hunting for the marriage. Say Tim was born first 1956...start 1955 , looking for the marriage ,work back a bit, |

Hi Toni Do you have a copy of your fathers birth certificate...?? ask him to have a look at it for you.... on there unless of course it is a short certificate that was issued it should give both of his parents names.. your Grandfather and Grandmother... Then you would go about tracking your grandparents marriage certificate which would supply you with both of the fathers names.. Maureen |

Right, does your dad have his birth cert ? it will tell you both his parents names and his mothers maiden name, then we can probably trace the marriage. The marriage cert will give us both fathers names, ** where have you looked for info so far? |

If you are looking for antecedents, your first step should be to purchase your grandparents' birth certs. They will give you the full names of both sets of parents, from which you can work backwards. Reg |

As you seem to be seeking living people, this should be on the 'trying to find' board. Good luck Reg |
