Hi all Im really struggling to find Claudius Thomas Aaron c1873. He was born in Louth Lincolnshire, I have his mother, father and siblings in all other census, including his grandparents. I was surprised to find him suddenly appear in 1901 (with his father Mark Aaron and his brother also Mark. I have his birth ref and his forename is spelt 'Claudius' Thomas as opposed to the 1901 mis-transcription (Clodous). Where was he pre 1901??? Any help much appreciated! 1901: >>>View Record Clodous Thomas Aaron abt 1873 Louth, Lincolnshire, England Mate Vessels Essex View Record Mark Aaron abt 1846 Louth, Lincolnshire, England Master Vessels Essex View Record Mark Aaron abt 1877 Louth, Lincolnshire, England Ordinery Seman Vessels Essex RG13/1660 Registration district: Orsett Sub-registration district: Grays ED, institution, or vessel: Mavis Folio: 133 Page: Household schedule number: 1 Lib:))

Yes, I thought Walter and Claudius could be one of the same person too, seems odd to nick name him Walter though lol Having said that I cannot find a Walter Aaron birth ref for c1873 in Louth!

Ozibird Ive just had a look for a Walter Aaron in 1901, and guess what...........I can't find one, a bit of a coincidence, I think that maybe Walter could be Claudius???

I don't know! If your name was Claudius wouldn't you change it to Walter? No records for a Walter's birth, just 2 references in 1881 & 1891 census.

Lol lol Lewella, I would'nt dream of calling a child Claudius in the first place lol Just seems more sensible to have called him by his middle name Thomas. It is looking as though they could be the same guy!

Ohhh..... that marriage for a Walter sure throws a damper on my conclusion that he could be Claudius! Will order the cert to confirm if it's him or not..... other wise I'll never be sure!
