1841, 1851 census look ups please

Hi Paul, I have the 1841 census index London (also covers area down to Chatham!) and found the following: HO107/487 folio 124 Chatham Mount Charles Whittingham, 62, Milkman, Y (born in county) Elizabeth Whittingham, 60, Y William Whittingham, 38, Town carter, Y Frances Whittingham, 37, Y Maryann Whittingham, 15, Y WILLIAM WHITTINGHAM, 13, Y John Whittingham, 14, Y Charlkes Whittingham, 5, Y Edward Whittingham, 3, Y Ann Whittingham, 6 months, Y Hope this helps Regards Barbara

can't find marriage on ancestry. Try the website i mentioned earlier, I couldn't fathom it out but Im sure if you have time to browse it you may find something. I couldnt see the wood for the trees on the parish stuff, but if you put Whittingham in the search cityark box, it does come up with some Whittingham stuff, one mentions skinner street which i think is one address that William lived at???

No marriage I can find on Ancesry civil reg. If you have any children's details you might consider buying a birth cert which would have Lavinia's maiden name on it as well as her and William's fathers and their occupations which would make it easier to find them. nell

No William Whittingham/Wittingham born Kent on 1851 census. If you want to find William's parents you would need to look at or ask for a look up on the 1841 census. His father would be named on William's marriage cert. His mother and father would be in the baptism register entry for William. nell

hi, can someone please help me! im looking for the parents of William Charles Whittingham born in Chatham, Kent 1829 he married Lavinia (maiden name unknown if anyone could find this it would also help, thanx) Lavinia was also born in Chatham, Kent in 1828. Regards Paul
