I have come to the end of the line on searching for Philip Colechin 1810 Circa and can find no further information on him. I do know that he comes from a line of lightermen working on the Thames London & had 3 children Jane, Mark & Philip. Any information on his wifes name would be great. Can anyone help me as I am sure there is more information to be had.

Unfortunatly no .... I found information about Mark, Jane and Philip in the 1901 Census. and Really only know that his name was Philip as all first born boys in our family are named Philip. Is there a site or somewhere I can get information on people born in the 1800's??

He's not on the IGI, so you will probably need to consult the relevant parish baptism and marriage registers for him. I'd take a chance and start with where their eldest child was baptised and try to find their marriage in the same parish. nell

I think he ought to be around in 1851 census, but can't find him. What info do you have about his children in 1901, where do they say they were born and when?

Sorry If I'm not responding quick enough.... It's just that I'm on the low down as I'm currently at work and don't want to get caught. :) Thanks Everyone though. As for Philip Coomber Colechin I wouldn't of thought this was him as his oldest child was born in around 1830.
