Hi Suzanne & Christine My GGGrandparents were David & Martha Sisman.The Sisman family came orginally from Sawtry,Huntingdonshire to South Australia in 1850's. As a few siblings & cousins came out to SA about the same time it has been interesting finding out their roots. This search today is another Sisman family who came to Australia. Suzanne- Re Ada in 1901 census;I thought if Robert Sisman was head of the house then surely Temperance Sisman would be his mother,not his mother-in-law. What do you make of it? Christine- Thanks for going backwards; I think this is the direction I need to go to connect my familes. Thats the trouble with all the William Sisman's. I love the name Temperance .
