I'm looing for the mmn of Stanley Reginald Andress Taylor born 12/12/1909 Ware, Herts. He married a Doris Lucy Rayment in 1930, Herts. Apart from a death record for Stanley I cannot find any other info on them Richard

Richard Do you know the Father's name? If so, you could possibly find him on the 1901, with his wife, hopefully. Then if we could find their marriage record, you would have her maiden name. Suzy

I think you will need to order the cert, unless you know of a younger sibling born 3rd quarter 1911 onwards, which is when MMN was added to the index. Liz

I need to find the mothers maiden name for a birth in 1909, is there anywhere online that would tell me or do i have to request the birth certificate??
