Yes, Georgina & Ozi, that's the connection. Lucy and Jane were both Philpots. Now the question is were they sisters or cousins? Lucy went on to become a Professor of Music and taught Queen Victoria the piano. Now here's an interesting connection. Jane H Kirkham's daughter Jane Harriett married Frederick Bowen Jewson and he also was a Professor of Music! Lewella

Thanks Georgina. I think she was 'an immaculate conception'!!!. She was married to Thomas Henry Kirkham and she is on the 1841 Census as his wife, so I know she does exist. Thanks anyway, Lewella x

Wow, sorry for the delay in replying. Its Friday night here and I've just been out for dinner. I thinking where did the Loder name suddenly come into it? I mean, I see they were lodgers with the family, but I don't know why they would have adopted the name. Brilliant work both Georgina and Ozibird. Thank you both so very much. I really appreciate all your efforts. Kind regards, Lewella x

Thanks Ozibird. I've got that. What I'm having trouble finding is Jane Philpot's marriage to Thomas Kirkham. I have them married on the 1841 Bath Census with several children. Regards, Lewella

Looking for any information regarding Jane Philpot born Bath about 1803. Believed sister's name Lucy. Jane married Thomas Kirkham. I can't find their marriage or Jane's birth. They have been located on the 1841 census. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Lewella
