Dizzy is at it again.... Sorry he married a sarah Bignell name not Edward but Edmund, but by 1881 was using Edward... sorry for confusion......

You are probably right Reg but i am just really checking some info i have got from another member, if only ancestry would sort my access out then i would be clicking away to my hearts content and not getting in a muddle......

Jeanette and Carrie thanks so much, as for name Jeanette, i have been called Dizzy since i was 3 years old, do you think they could tell even then...!!!!!!!!

I think I have found him on the 1851 census at 9months. They have put the family with the birthplace of Hartfield. I have looked at the original image and it is definitely Harefield. The ref is HO 107 1697. Have a look and see what you think.

Jeanette, oh yes on Thurs and Fri but no real joy, i have only ever had 1 account with them and the money was taken from my account in January... having someone in to look at computer on Monday as ancestry say it must be a problem my end...

Sounds like you need to clear out your cookies and then sign in Ancestry again using password. It happened to me shortly after I joined - I seemed to have two accounts with them - but I KNEW I hadn't ! I did a good clear out of temporary internet files and Cookies files and hey presto, not had a problem since x If this is new to you, then check out Tips Board and look for Judy in the States's thread for brilliant advice on keeping PC in good order ... The info I found is the same as Carrie has found. Got husband to look at image and he read it as Harefield
