Lisa, The names Hannah and Ann/Annie are the same ... and often replace each other. Here are Arthur and some of his siblings: 1 Jefferies Arthur R Taylor Bromley.2a 1061 Birth 1 1913 <<< 2 Jefferies Doris W Taylor Bromley.2a 983 Birth 3 1916 3 Jefferies Ernest S Taylor Maldon.4a 1302 Birth 4 1916 4 Jefferies Hilda M Taylor Bristol.6a 224 Birth 2 1914 5 Jefferies Hilda J M Taylor Bromley.2a 1076 Birth 1 1912 6 Jefferies Kenneth W Taylor Bromley.2a 1173 Birth 3 1920 7 Jefferies Lennard Taylor Bromley.2a 694 Birth 1 1919 8 Jefferies Norman L Taylor Bromley.2a 758 Birth 1 1918 Not sure that 3 & 4 belong to you. Not same Registration district as others. I have paid for the search, so I might as well pass the information on. You need to search after 1920 on Ancestry Births ... Elaine ;-)

Lisa: This is what you wrote at the beginning of your request: my grandfather was called arthur reginald jefferies,b 1913 he was from kent, london he married joyce rule,b 1923 from lancashire '''he was one of about 13 boys.'''' So why do you now think he wasn't one of 13 ????????? Maybe you, your Mum and your Grandma should sit down together and actually write down what you do KNOW ... and also what you believe MAY be. Only then can we help you with the rest. Elaine ;-)

Lisa

Lisa Report 28 Feb 2006 18:31
