So if it's 'your' Susan, she married twice............. Reg

Margaret, i have Joseph Daniels b abt 1817 in Shoreditch and his wife Phoebe Daniels b 1819 in Chelsea and their children including Phoebe b 1843 in Bethnal Green on 1851 census living at no 1 Collingwood St. Someone on another site contacted me saying a sister of Joseph Daniels named Susan or SUSANNA was living at no 7 Collingwood St, in 1851 so i was hoping to verify that, Hope you can help Mike

Which census did you get the Collingwood address from, if you let me know I'll have a look at the neighbours myself for you and see if it gives any clues. The problem is they often change what's included in a district from one census to another, which doesn't help!

I've just looked at Bethnall Green in 1851, there's 53 pages in one district alone! The districts are as follows: Church Green Hackney Road Town Do you know which your address belongs to. I think it would be just a case of scrolling through page after page until you found the right street. It would be quite a long job unless you were very lucky!! Perhaps if you gave the names of some neighbours from the later census?

Can't be done...........searches are by name only except for 1881 on Ancestry. Post the names, and a check can be done........ Reg
