Found something in 1871. Name of Freece. James Freece Head 1825 Maria Freece wife 1826 Mary Freece Dau 1848 Rose Freece Dau 1863 Fredrick Freece son 1855 Living in London. All born Maidstone except James who is NK

I just found a ROSE FREED same age living with brother Fredrick FREED he was born Maidstone but she is said to be born middlesex. I reckon thats the same one. Most of them come from around Maidstone/Loose area. So now I need to see who Frederick belongs to!!!!

She does not appear on any census. I am now searching Rosetta to see if the surname is spelt wrong. Very strange, a nice mystery for a Monday morn!! Mags

Trying to find her on 1881 but she appears to be none existence. The marriage is obviously after the census so she should still be under FREED. Just done a sweep of all the FREED born 2 year either side of 1862 and just shows 32 of them but not her.

Ancestry has thrown up a Rosetta Freed born March 1862 Maidstone. Might this be the one. Mags

I have no idea. My FREED family are mostly from Kent but I just came across this name on here today and they allowed me access to their tree but no mention of where any of them were born. Will ask them if they know. GLoria
