Find Ancestors

Well, the only other things I can think of that maybe Thomas is with his father or father's family, whomever they are. He's could in hospital, or grossly mistranscribed. Sorry no one could help. Rose

I checked and Thomas is not with any of Margaret Entwistle's family. I am assuming you have Thomas' birth cert and shows that Sarah Jane was the mother. Rose

Any idea of what Sarah Jane's mother's maiden name? Maybe Thomas is living with them and was listed with thier last name. By the way, Margaret is the wife on the 1881 and 1871 census so Mary on the 1891 is probably just an error. Would this be the right marriage record? Rose, yes, thats them in 1891. Thomas would only be aged around 4 or 4 years, so he can't be too far away!! I wonder where he is?! Alison

But in 1891 there is Sarah jane living with them who is the mother of Thomas, But he is not with them on that 1891 census, and i would really like to find him! Alison.

hi the 1901 has the head as george? am i looking for the right one?

Hello, His grandparents are Joseph and Margaret Rowles. I have just been on the 1901 page and Thomas is down as Roules, and also he is down as being born in Derby! but on the image it does say Born in Manchester!! Also Joseph and Margaret have been mistranscribed as roules aswell!! Just checked the 1901 image, for the birth place it says 'England NK' for all the family! Alison.

Hello, I have a Thomas Rowles, who was born in Manchester in 1887. I have him in 1901, living with his grandparents, but i'm now looking for him in 1891, so he would be aged around 3 or 4 years. He was an illigitimate child, and in 1891 i have his grandparents and his mother all living together, but no sign of Thomas, can any one help??!! Alison.
