Georgina you are an angel but I cannot look on scotlandspeople having trouble with the images thats why I a so mad I bought credits have used a lot and seen nothing, you are welcome to use some if you want they will expire and then they are wasted

Val the IGI is the International Genealogical Index. Basically it is parish records from all over the world that has been transcribed by the mormon church and it is on the Familysearch site free of charge. When you are searching always scroll down the page and if it says the info was added by an LDS member always double check the results because there are lots of errors. If it has a batch number at the bottom it is from a parish record and is much more reliable although mistakes are still made, but it is a good starting point. Georgina.

Val it could be them in 1841 Isabel could be visiting with her grandparents, and according to the IGI Alexander & Barbara had 3 children, the middle child was Jane who could be the Joan on the 1841 census she was christened in 1840... hi Susan I am sorry I am going mad with this lot I meant to say Alexander Buchan (could be under Robert) B 1814 wife Barbara B 1815 they married in 1837 had a daughter isabella B 1837 the year they married and then at least 4 or 5 others if you like I will either give you 1837 look ups or ancestry or I could give you my id on scotlandspeople and maybe you can use some of my credits i dont mind as I dont seem able to

Hi Valerie........ I just had a look in the 1881 cencus for you (less credits!) , found 7, viewed them all.... none of the ALEXANDER's had a wife called BARBARA. Your massage reads a child is the same age as the wife? .... or ..... maybe you've got another ALEXANDER BUCHAN between 39-41 born ABERDEEN ......(could be one of the 7 I found?) Let me Know? still having problems with this so could some kind person see if they can look up the 1861 and 1871 census for a Alexander Buchan B 1814 Rosehearty Aberdeen married to a Barbara B 1815 Pitsligo I need to see the names of the children and when born I have one definite a Isabella B 1837 Pitsligo, Married in 1864 and possibly a sister Christian B 1860 Pitsligo there should be at least 3 or 4 others PLEASE be ever so grateful
