Hi Lorraine Thank you very much for your kind offer. Please could you look for the following sisters: Caroline Elizabeth Bannister, b abt 1826 (Blackfriars, Middlesex) Emily do, b abt 1831 (Westminster, Middlesex) Georgina Bannister, b abt 1833 (St Anne's Soho, Middlesex) Later on, they tended to be milliners and dressmakers; the ages and birthplaces tended to vary a bit on different censuses; I know the birthplaces weren't stated in 1841, but thought they might give a clue to the family's whereabouts. I'm hoping they'll all be together, with other brothers/sisters and parents..... Once again, many thanks for your kind offer, and best wishes Lysianne

Hi Lorraine Thanks for looking anyway. Could you see if Eliza White's brother is there, unless he's in the same missing area. He was William Webster born c1817 Poplar. In 1851 he was married and a publican/victualler but probably still single in 1841. Thanks April

Lorraine Report 16 Apr 2006 22:42

Hi Michelle, You will have to find their marriage and get the certificate and that will show her maiden name. Good luck Lorraine
