That looks strange Jess - if it is them I shoud think it is a mistranscription. Thomas (senior's generation) were all from Portishead/Bristol area . Carole

Hi Julie Yes that's him BUT there are two Eli George Carey's - one born 1859 Bedminnster- uncle of the former - he disappeared after 1871 can find no death or marriage index for either Eli George! Carole
