I would really appreciate help in finding records of Alice Ormrod, daughter of John Alfred Ormrod and Polly Goodwin She was born about 1903/04, and had a brother John Leonard Ormrod, they were both born in the Lancashire area. Alice later moved to Brighton. I have really struggled finding any record and would appreciate help..I would love to find out if she got married? |

You would need to search the BMD on ancestry its free at the moment, search their beta data base, or the freebmd's, here is a link to the births on beta http://www.ancestry(.)com/search/db.aspx?dbid=8964 also you will be able to get to the freebmd from their remove bracket Roy |

Looks like she may have been born too late for the 1901 census but this looks like the bros birth ref - you can buy that for £7 on GRO online and get the parents. Just noticed you seem to know parents names? So have you got a birth cert already? Or a marriage? Let us know what you have already. two possibilities. June 1899 Edith Alice Barton I 8c 664 Barton is under lancacshire . or Sept 1900 Alice Ormrod Manchester 8d 210. The second one in Manchester is more my bet in view of bros birth in 1904 |

I already have John Leonards Birth certificate, which shows John Alfred (father) and Polly (nee Goodwin) mother,, I think Polly comes from Urmston Manchester.. Thank you ever so much for all your help.. |

I dont know if Alice married, I know she moved from Manchester to Brighton. Teresa, yes this is the Polly on 1901 census.. Shirley, I dont know if theres a connection with the Alice in 1813. Thanks everyone, please keep the help coming |
