I can only see a Castle Eden near Gateshead. I guess it could be anything? It there no other reference to a district at all?

I am looking for possible children of William Irwin and Jane Howe-married 1913 in Gateshead-Found a Ralph H. Irwin Mothers maiden name Howe, 2nd quarter 1915 but place of birth is stated as Castle W.

Maybe we could look up the Census's for you, see if anything else is stated? but we need a name and year of birth.

I got it from Ancestry-it is listed as a place of Birth-I was hoping it was the North East of England, but as you say could be anywhere.

Could be anywhere, did you get it from a census? if so which one, details please. may be we can help.
