How do I check a marriage on Ancestry please - inf

If it's after 1911 (I think) when they started putting spouses surname on the index, then you can cross check the same qtr. and year for that surname. If it's before this date, then you have to buy the certificate - English genealogy is very expensive, lol. Kath. x |

You can't find it from the indexes unless you have a name to check to see if the references cross-match. The only way if you don't know would be to buy the cert. Janice |

If it's before (I think) JAS 1911 or it may be JAS 1912, then you buy the certificate !!! |

Hi everyone, Can someone please tell me when I search for a marriage on Ancestry beta, I put in the name and year quarter etc when the page comes up to view and i have the name of the female, what do from here to found the man she married?? Betty |
