Not sure if it is the right one in 1851 in the army as you rightly say the years are out. He could be the one who married in 1851 though, but can't see him in later census or a death for him. Ron did he have any children, are you directly related to him? Joanne

Have you found Benjamin in any later census? Do you know he survived beyond 1841? Do you know he definitely got married?
