Having been attempting to trace Wadge family from Saltash (St Stephens) through the census's but have come stumbling. Please see below

Henry Wadge born 1832 approx 1861 Henry (aged 28) wife: Elizabeth in St Stephens 1871 Henry Elizabeth Chidren: William, Charles, Elizabeth Mary 1881 Henry Elizabeth children:Charles, Elizabeth Mary, Alfred, Fredrick, Edith & Emily No trace of Henry before 1861 or after 1881 can anyone help?

Sorry don't think thats them Debs or Lesley....I believe he could of been born Karkeel which is near Saltash but comes under St Stephens....

1841 doesn't list birthplaces.....only the County. And, don't forget that adult ages were rounded down in 1841 Reg

Thank you reggie & Georgina...yes sorry you could be right Georgina I should know living in the area that Saltash (st Stephens as it was) was part of St Germans....Reggie I didn't know about the ages thanks it may well help me on a couple of my other branches now!!
