hiya sarah, it just depends on what info you require, if its before 1837, i always use 'hugh wallis''s' site has alot of parish records, but mainly i use ancestry, and here, always someone wanting a lookup or suchlike. anything your looking for in particular??? julie |

no not really am trying to find the parents of elizabeth denton nee craig she was born in alpby york around 1846. but cant find anything sarah |

do you have her on 1851 census, or later??? if you can post as much info as you know, and where you have her, then i'm sure someone will happily help you on here, i cant promise i'll be able to stay, i need to be up for kids in morning julie |

hello again dont have much info i found her on family search but it only gives her married name which is denton the info i have is she married joseph denton dont know where or when they had 5 children thomas edward born belfast 10/9/1868 margaret born 1870 barnsley fred born 1872 halifax george born 1874 halifax sarah ellen born 1879 halifax they lived at 4 lime street ovenden but its her parents am looking for thanks for any help sarah |

sarah, you will need to buy the marriage cert to be 100% sure that you get right families in 1841 census, only then will you be able to go back further without chasing the wrong line, julie |
