I have just seen your enquiry re the Corbetts. Have you got all tyhe info you need? Elias Corbett was my wife's G Grandfather. We are interested in John Hunt who was Elias Corbett's father in law. Do you know his parents?

Thanks Reg Should of known it wasnt the 1841 census, would have been a bit too young to be a servant on that one. Yes I will have to look at this marriage to see if this is the right family for Eliza, but looks like it could be. Had a look for a baptism on IGI but no luck there. Thanks for all your help Julie

This is the only family named Hunt in Badgeworth in 1841....perhaps Elizabeth is Eliza? Hi, Could someone please look up ELIAS CORBETT born 1835 in Slimbridge, Gloucestershire in either 1861 or 1871 (or both would be fantastic). I have him in 1851 aged 16 with his parents James & Hester in Slimbridge and in 1881 he is in Gloucester Kingsholme, St Mary, aged 46 with wife Hannah and children John, James, Giles and Sarah........ There is a marriage in 1859 in The Dursley registration district for Elias but only one bride has been transcribed and she was Eliza Hunt - so not sure as yet if this is the correct marriage. Any help greatly appreciated.... Julie.
