I feel I have wasted my time in trying to help. Some points need to be raised here: I. I checked the image for 1891 which is why I knew it was the right family and would have put the names of other people in the household. II. There is no servant on this page - male or female III. No one called Margaret Hilbeck on this page IV. Hi Kelly, sorry but I dont have access to 1891 census but most likely Maureen just put down the family and didnt check the image to include the servant. 1891 census search is different to the others as when searched it gives everyone on the whole page rather than just the household, Maureen probably didnt realise the servant on the page belonged to that household. found out! somebody searched the 1891 for me earlier also and found a servant - Margaret Hilbeck?

OOOh Just understood (tired of searching). How come there is no mention of a servant in your search maureen but one in suzannes search????? is it because of different search pages/software???

1881 is free to search on www.familysearch.org He's not showing up in the index for 1891.
