Reg I wondered about the birth place, but she married in Hemingbrough, York. Thats why I opted for York area as birthplace rather than Pickering area. Regards Elaine x

In 1861 and 1871, she is 29 and 39....birth year c1832..born York. In 1881, she is 48, born Pickering In 1891, she is 57, born Pickering In 1901,she is 68, born Pickering The birthplace in the later ones is probably due to the fact that all the rest of the family were born there, and assumptions were made.......... I'm doing it on batch seacrh via high wallis. I did search 1834 +/-2 to cover the elastic year of birth. I think Mary is going to have to go on your backburner till you get her MC and hope it has a father's name on it.

Try the Wigginton one - it's nearest York. York has a York St John parish, but I didn't know it had Delpike on the end of it - I live and learn:))
