Find Ancestors

Could someone please do me a look up for a Spencer Thornton in the 1871 census, If my info is correct he was born in Carlton,Yorkshire in about 1847 and should be aged 23 or so in the 1871. Knowing who he is with (if anyone at all) and where he is living would be most helpful

presume this is his death Spencer Thornton Birth Date: abt 1847 Year of Registration: 1880 Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec Age at death: 33 District: Skipton County: West Riding Of Yorkshire Volume: 9a Page: 39 so should be around somewhere in 1871 !!

Its definately one of those Julie, unfortunately im not at all sure whether it is Mary or Elizabeth that he wed I had a look earlier for any Mary or Elizabeth Thorntons that were widowed by 1881 and the only one i came up with is Elizabeth that was the wife of Septimus who died a year previous to Spencer and is living with a family called Elliott

Yes - could be Septimus´wife - I see he married an Elizabeth and also died before 1881 !

yup, thats the only conclusion i could come up with for tht one. I tried to eliminate as much as i could before i posted so that there would be limited errors if any, the elizabeth that septimus married was an elliott and she is back with her family, unless of course that elizabeth died and its Spencers elizabeth that lives there, umm hopefully not. I had a lovely head of hair when i started this family tree, im nearly bald now ..lol

Sorry - will have to give up - cant see him anywhere.
